MQA Ltd (Marketing Quality Assurance Limited) is an independent certification body accredited by UKAS*, part of the Government DTi, and is the sole assessment body for Hospitality Assured. MQA helped develop the HA Business Excellence Standard and Guidelines.
When you sign up for assessment, HA instructs MQA to book and make arrangements for Assessor visits to your organisation and reports. Findings are approved by HA who issues reports, certificates and plaques accordingly.
MQA has established a reputation for professionalism, thoroughness and objectivity. The MQA Assessment Team understands business and the challenges of management and comprises key assessment specialists, some EFQM trained and Fellows, in service sector who have worked at senior management level in industry or commerce. They uphold the MQA philosophy that Assessment is for success in the pursuit of Excellence not failure and they assess not audit or inspect.
The Assessors help make MQA market leaders. With a non-bureaucratic approach they add value and assess the effectiveness of organisations. Feedback is a key element. They look at all levels and contribute to the upgrading of the various Standards MQA assess against including HA and ISO 9001 international Excellence standards and continuous improvement based on experience.
A Lead Assessor to lead a team of Assessors may be required if an organisation is of a certain size whilst smaller organisations require an individual Assessor. Preparation and planning plus review of documentation may be carried out off site in advance.
