The In House Catering Company Gains Prestigious Hospitality Assured Standard for Delivering Service and Business Excellence

The In House Catering Company, based in Central London, has achieved Hospitality Assured.

The In House Catering Company, an owner-managed business, was established in 1995 with the aim of providing outstanding fresh food and serving it with flair and panache. Operating exclusively in Central London, In House provides directors dining facilities and staff catering to major City companies and manages hospitality services for a number of key conference centres in the West End – including two which have already gained Hospitality Assured in their own right: Woburn House meeting and conference centre in Bloomsbury; and 76 Portland Place meeting, training and entertaining venue.

Commenting on In House’s Hospitality Assured accreditation, Joint Managing Director Mark Herman MIH, said: "We are delighted to have achieved Hospitality Assured. For In House, it’s always been about providing outstanding hospitality and service. Hospitality is about how we make a customer feel when we look after them and this needs to be combined with excellent service delivery. Hospitality Assured has helped us focus on the key areas that achieve these goals throughout the company; and the accreditation has given us the reassurance that we are doing the right things.

“The Standard has helped us to concentrate on the whole customer experience by ensuring all of our actions within the company are ultimately focused on giving the best service possible to our clients. In addition to being an excellent business planning tool, the Hospitality Assured process – leading to our assessment – has also been a great team building experience!”

In House’s Hospitality Assured accreditation was undertaken by a team of independent UKAS (The United Kingdom Accreditation Service) assessors from MQA Ltd. on behalf of the Institute of Hospitality, which is the professional body for hospitality industry managers worldwide.

Philippe Rossiter FIH, Chief Executive of the Institute of Hospitality, added: “I would like to congratulate everyone at the In House Catering Company on their fine achievement. The Hospitality Assured assessors were particularly impressed by the ample evidence available at In House’s head office, and at the sites visited, of products and services being regularly reviewed and adapted in accordance with client needs and expectations.

“In gaining the Standard, the In House Catering Company joins an elite band of prestigious organisations that have achieved Hospitality Assured in London. These include the world renowned hotel The Ritz, London; the 5-star Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington; the Institute of Directors in Pall Mall; One Great George Street conference, wedding and events venue in Westminster; Church House conference centre, also in Westminster; Searcy at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden; and the Victory Services Club in Seymour Street.”
